More discreet than non-dome security cameras, mini dome cameras are ideal for surveillance sites where cameras are less noticeable such as building entrances, convenience and retail stores and shopping malls. Sony's new ruggedized, fixed mini dome color camera incorporates a 1/4" type high resolution Super HAD� CCD for outstanding picture quality (480 TV lines) and excellent sensitivity of 0.8 lux. The SSC-CD73V features a Day/Night function that automatically senses light changes and switches the camera mode from color (day time/bright lighting) to black and white (night time/dark or low lighting). This new "mini" might be small, but it delivers BIG benefits and outstanding value with its 3 year warranty/24 hour service program.

	CS Mount, Auto Iris Vari-Focal Lens	The SSC-CD73V is equipped with a CS mount, auto-iris vari-focal lens with a focal length of 3.0 to 8 mm to cover a broad range of viewing choices. This versatile and powerful lens automatically compensates the focus length difference between visible light and infrared light. The result is clear, crisp images (subject remains in focus automatically) when going from visible to infrared light and vice versa.
	Day/Night Feature	The SSC-CD73V mini dome features a day/night function that automatically senses lighting changes and switches the camera mode from color (day time/bright lighting) to black and white (night time/dark or low lighting). The day/night function can also be set up in the menu to allow the use of an external device (e.g., timer) to trigger the camera to go from color to black and white mode and back again automatically.
