HOW TO USE THIS DOCUMENT
------------------------

To view Readme.txt on screen in Notepad, maximize the Notepad window.

To print Readme.txt, open it in Notepad or another word processor,
and then use the Print command on the File menu.



USING THE INSTALLER
====================================

Doubleclick SU4100.exe and follow the instructions provided onscreen by the installer.


LIST OF FILES INSTALLED
====================================



    StartHere.txt   Provides information about using UD4100.exe
                    to communicate with and program the Destiny
                    4100 security panel. 
                    
    UD4100.exe      The executable Destiny 4100 downloader. 

    UD4100.hlp      Online help for the Destiny 4100 downloader. This
                    file must be in the same folder as the executable.
        
    Dest4100.in5    Default settings file for the Destiny 4100 downloader.
		    If this file is not in the same folder as the executable
                    you will be prompted to loacte it when you run UD4100.

    Mfc42.dll       Libraries required by UD4100.  They must be located 
    MSvcrt.dll      either in the same folder as the executable or in
    Supercom.dll    C:\Windows\System. If they are moved to the System
    Protocol.dll    folder, the uninstaller may not work correctly.


Uninstalling UD4100
----------------------------

To remove UD4100 from your computer:

1. Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Control 
   Panel.

2. Double-Click the Add/Remove Programs icon.

3. Click UD4100, and then click Add/Remove.

4. Click Remove All.

        OR

1. Use the Start Menu to choose Remove UD4100.

2. Click "yes' in response to the prompt.
